Dragon Age has always been a franchise in which mages are a socially surpressed group and to be confronted with a socially confident enchantress who likes Templars and seemingly supports the social shunning out of her own ambition is the walking embodiment of flippancy.Īnd yet, I feel a lot of sympathy for Vivienne. As a Templar-thumping elitist with a icy, sardonic demeanor the sheer ‘ Idea Of A Vivienne’ is meant to make your head spin. Now, I’m under the impression that this is a rather unpopular opinion but I absolutely love Vivienne.
